Valentine's Day is all about the puns. And we took full advantage of that for this campaign.
The "root" of the concept: inspire people to plant a tree for VDay instead of buying something. We used the below graphics across TNC social media channels and leveraged relationships with influencers to organically drive traffic to PlantABillion.org. And, it worked! In just 15 days we drove nearly 8K visitors to the page and raised nearly $10,000. Some of our most notable influencers for this effort were Jack Johnson, Martha Stewart, Iliza Shlesinger and the outdoor group "Women Who Hike."
